Who tried to pass off a season 4 episode of The Office in the Parks and Rec time slot, and oh god WHY?

I knew that Officer Dave coming back would not be easy to watch. When Louis CK’s heart breaks, your heart breaks with him. But whenever I recommend P&R to people, I always have to add, “No, I know it looks like The Office, but it doesn’t go to that well of uncomfortable, awkward humor. If so, rarely.” Now I’ll have to append that with, “Buuut here are some season 4 episodes you should avoid.”

Argh. I laughed more at the cold open to 30 Rock than the whole episode of Parks and Rec. This season’s been pretty solid, though not with the delightfulness density of season 3, so I’m not that worried, but dammit, last night was supposed to be my cuddle and giggle night, not my cuddle and quiver with the ache of a fictional character’s desperation night.
